Knowledge transfer meeting of the Bridges project in Palau Macaya, 11/2022

On the 21 of November, members of the COALESCE Lab Cristina Rodríguez, Alejandro Ciordia, Núria Targarona Rifà, and Miranda Lubbers met with representatives of nine NGOs, public sector entities, and social enterprises to discuss the results of the Bridges project in the beautiful Palau Macaya, home to the La Caixa Foundation that funded the research. The research shows that the composition of acquaintanceship networks shapes their opinions on issues such as economic redistribution and migration in some unexpected ways, and we discussed how these results might be relevant for organizations working in these areas. It was a productive discussion - not only to transfer the knowledge we gained from the research to these organizations but also to obtain their insights or interpretations, which can further shape research.
