From time to time, we have coworking days at the COALESCE Lab, especially when (almost) all members are present.  

We welcome Alice Ferro to our lab, a PhD student in Political Science and Sociology at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence, who is coming to visit us for three months.

On 28/12/2025, the newspaper La Vanguardia published the article "Las cenas de Navidad o por qué necesitamos una excusa para ver a los amigos", written by Marta Montojo Torrente, and with the participation of affiliated lab member Alejandro Ciordia. 

We announce an Open Seminar co-organised by COALESCE Lab and INMIX - UAB Research Group featuring leading expert in migration studies Prof. Louise Ryan, Senior Professor of Sociology and Director of the Global Diversities and Inequalities Research Centre, London Metropolitan University.

We are excited to welcome three new members to the lab: Paul Schuler, Gonzalo Franetovic, and Chen Wang. We look forward to working together!
