Several members of the COALESCE Lab showcased their research at the Sunbelt Conference, held in Paris from June 23 to 29, 2025. Presenters included Yunsub Lee, Nuria Targarona, Alexi Quintana, Zhiyi Jin, Michał Bojanowski, as well as incoming members Paul Schuler and Gonzalo Franetovic. Some of the lab members also chaired sessions during the conference: Nuria Targarona Rifa and Miranda Lubbers co-organized the session “Mixed methods for social network analysis” with Francisca Ortiz Ruiz (with three two-hour subsessions), and Paul Schuler co-chaired the session “Spatial and Geographic Social Networks” (also with three subsessions) with Clio Andris, Zachary Neal, and Gil Viry. Michał Bojanowski gave the workshop "Intro to Network Analysis Tools In R" with Lorien Jasny.
The Sunbelt Conference is the flagship annual event of the International Network for Social Network Analysis (INSNA), bringing together scholars from diverse disciplines to share the latest advances in social network research.
