I am a PhD candidate in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), which funds my doctoral studies. My research examines how migration infrastructures—including institutional, technological, social, and physical dimensions—shape the everyday lives, mobility trajectories, and identity formation of Chinese migrants. I am particularly interested in how migrants from different social backgrounds engage with, adapt to, and reshape these infrastructures.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Nanjing University, where I studied rural-to-urban migration and social integration in China. I also worked with several social work organizations, gaining fieldwork experience through in-depth interviews, focus groups, and participatory action research—experiences that continue to inform my ethnographic approach.

In 2024–2025, I earned the Certificate of Honors from the Hopkins–Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies (HNC), a joint program between Johns Hopkins University and Nanjing University. This experience broadened my perspective on cross-cultural relations and international collaboration.
